After many years as a successful and respected gynecologist, he began researching treatment methods for uterine fibroids, as well as a variety of fertility techniques. In 1975, Dr. Bartsich began applying his new operative hysteroscopy technique called "myomectomy." A myomectomy removes the fibroid tumor, preserving the uterus and other reproductive organs, thus avoiding a hysterectomy.
Dr. Bartsich is one of the most accomplished surgeons within the field of Gynecology. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the New York County Medical Society, the New York Society of Reproductive Medicine and the New York Obstetrical Society. Dr. Bartsich has also received numerous awards and honors including the prestigious AMA Physician's Recognition Award certificate, and he is also a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
